Using the Alexa app, you can make a video call with the Echo Show. Just follow the steps below to get started. First, you must install the Alexa app on your Echo Show device. After you install the app, tap on the display to start the video call. Then, you must enter your first and last names as well as your email address. You can also add up to 15 people to a group video call.

You can also use the touchscreen on the Echo Show to start the video call. Then, simply swipe to accept or reject the video call. You will receive notifications or audio alerts, depending on whether you are holding the video call or not. Once the video chat has started, you can end the call. To end the call, simply say “Alexa end video call.”

The Drop In feature is another feature to consider. It allows you to ‘drop in’ to another Echo device from anywhere. If you don’t want to see the camera when others are in the room, turn the feature off in the Communicate section. The ‘Drop In’ feature is a good option if you plan to use the Echo Show as a visual intercom. However, note that this feature doesn’t work for standard Facetime calls.

Besides calling other Echo devices, you can also use the Echo Show to make a video call. To make a video call, you must first create a group in the Alexa app and tell Alexa to call everyone in the group. It is not a necessity, but it is an option to consider. It is also possible to create a name calling group in the Alexa app. The Echo Show supports video calls with up to eight people.
